The Mayfaire Carnival is almost here! Are you ready to to climb the wall, bounce in the house, pet the pig and dance till you drop? If not, then get ready because you can do all of that and so much more. Dunk your favorite Argonne teachers in freezing cold water. Be amazed by the clowns of the Prescott Circus. Cheer for the talented students of Argonne and scream for the Bay Area Girls band! To prepare yourself for this amazing day take a look at the Mayfaire schedule, list of activities, food choices, raffle prizes and general info.
And don’t forget everyone picks up their online auction winnings at the Carnival. Like those tickets to the Outside Lands or Giants game. Or the YMCA membership or the gift certificate for the Shan-Yee Poon Ballet school. Or the gift certificate to A 16 or Foreign Cinema or Michael Mina’s RN 74 or Burma Superstar or To Hyang (as seen on Tony’s Bourdain’s visit to SF). There are so many great deals from entertainment to food to fashion to travel. Tell everyone you know to go to the online auction site and bid. It’s open until May 10th, perfect just 2 day before Mother’s Day!
We also need Argonne families to sign up to volunteer. Each classroom is responsible for a fun activity. So sign up now, Mayfaire is nothing without the help and participation of all Argonne families.
Come out, help out and have a great time knowing that you are providing our students with art, music, physical education, reading, a library and so much more!
Be part of San Francisco history. Help us tell the story of our neighborhood by supporting the painting of a mural celebrating the Richmond’s evolution from sand dunes during the era of the Ohlone to a thriving, multi-cultural community. We are partnering with Precita Eyes Muralists who led design workshops with our students to depict iconic places like the Cliff House and Sutro Baths from the past, to Green Apple Books, House of Bagels, and the Golden Gate Bridge visible from our neighborhood today.
We have set up a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the painting of the mural. Your donation is HUGELY appreciated. And please join us to paint our mural on Saturday, April 6. Other Community Painting Days to follow. Please RSVP: email@example.com

Our fruit trees are blossoming and kale, cauliflower, chard, and other edible plants are sprouting up. Over a dozen of our classes have worked with our garden educators learning science and other curriculum outdoors.
Stop by Cabrillo and check out the tremendous work we’ve done to create a gorgeous new garden.
